They kicked him out because he was the best looking one- Pete was getting all the women; Sir Paul and John didn’t like that.
BTW- That’s the reason why Stu Sutcliffe departed the group (not that he was ever a member). Paul didn’t like the fact that everyone seemed to be attracted to Stu (in particular, John). Paul felt he was doing all the work, yet Stu was getting all the accolades.
Paul was always funny that way.
I met Pete at Beatles convention back in 80’s he was very nice person I can’t understand why people here attack him.
The problem with Pete was that he was too nice.
What the fuck are those bastards laughing??
He acts more Italian than British.
@NikDonaghy23
ah, ok. Well it blew.
@TopTenCrew
that wasnt Best, it was Andy White. A session musician George martin picked.
I mixed Peat best in Binghamton N.Y. his band was worthless they all blew there own 20 year old pith pipe the bass was sharp sharp I was so agitated I asked peat if he was Australian I almost busted a gut holding back the giggles at his response “I ain’t no FUCKING convict” classy guy NOT
Pete was kicked out because the girls flocked to him.And John paul and George were ugly .
Pete sucks!!!
@klbax63 rain is the most under heard beatles songs there is.. what was it.. back side of 1 single release.. and no where else… i will give RIngo credit for his swooning vocal talent but not the drumming,
Can you imagine if Pete had stayed the drummer? I mean, he seems like a nice guy, but his personality is just so different from the others! I can just imagine how the interviews would’ve gone…..John, Paul, and George would’ve been their normal, crazy selves while Pete sits there quietly. That never would’ve worked.
@Spinitch628 I understand, but the cowardly way the others went about sacking him was obscene; they let Epstein do it instead of at least being there too and telling him. And secondly, if he was such a bad drummer, why did it take two years to discover this? Jealousy was a big factor.
He stold the girls attention, thats why they didnt like him !
John Lennon simply put it, “He wasn’t one of us, he didnt fit it.” The other three were quick witted? and clicked together. Unfortunately, Pete’s personality did not fit in, so he got the axe.
@skudaarkaat1
Um, listen to the Anthology Version of Love Me Do. The man couldn’t drum.
He was a GREAT drummer! I’ve been a Beatles fan since 1961 and got to see Pete play for more than a year and he was GREAT! I’ve always thought he was f****ed by them, the only black mark on their otherwise fabulous musical careers, and I STILL think they owe him something!!!!!
just love this drummer
I love The Beatles but Pete is such a lovely down-to-earth fella. To still be smiling after all the humiliation he endured from being kicked out of the group; I would say that just shows what a resilient and forgiving man he is. Kudos Pete
@546046 I think I could handle being a millionaire which he is. You get less crazy fans stalking you too due to not being as well known.
Letterman forgot to say Paul McCartney…How dare hime? LOL
RINGO FOREVER, PETE NEVER
@e8412561 YOU are correcting MY grammar? hahaha. go read your previous comments, and realize your own stupidity.
@PerennialLucidity ‘have’ should start with an upper case ‘h’. Have an even nicer day.
@skotty1992 to all morons who replied to my facetious comment on this video as if i were serious: please learn what sarcasm is, and how to detect it. if you didn’t pick up on the insanely ludicrous nature of my comment, then you are extremely stupid. if i’d laid the sarcasm on any thicker, the world would have imploded, but you’re even thicker than that, idiots. have a nice day.
